Real Estate Development company AB “Hanner” has been awarded a title of National Champion in the category of Environmental & Corporate Sustainability. This title has been awarded by the decision of a Jury consisting of the Europe’s most influential businessman and experts of economics  for the “Rent2Buy” service introduced in Lithuania by AB “Hanner” and green building solutions implemented in company projects.

“Rent2Buy” service was acknowledged not only as a convenient service for young people to purchase their first apartment, but also as a modern decision of a socially responsible company.

“We are operating not only in Lithuania, but in foreign markets as well, where we receive a lot of positive feedback for our decisions, which set new directions and quality standards. Jury of European Business Awards acknowledged green building solutions implemented in our business centers, “Rent2Buy” service, which we introduced in Lithuania. Conversion of former industrial teritorries into residential areas in Vilnius also received positive feedback”, – said Arvydas Avulis, AB “Hanner” chairman of the Board.

According to A. Avulis, company dedicates a lot of attention to eco solutions – AB “Hanner” was the first to install a solar power plant on the roof of a residential building, it uses ecologic materials in its projects, while carefully recycling all the waste created during the construction. All business centers managed by “Hanner” use only green electricity, produced from renewable energy sources.

The prestigious European Business Awards for the year 2016/2017 will be awarded for the tenth time. This year more than 33.000 companies from 34 countries participated in the contest.
